Pilates

Pilates is an integrative exercise system that combines breathing patterns with movement. Emphasis is placed on working the whole body in a variety of movement sequences to improve body conditioning, posture, abdominal strength, body awareness, and coordination. The exercises, which are stress-free and non-impact, are performed on the floor and on specialized equipment with adjustable springs that regulate tension and resistance.

Donnella Wood

Donnella Wood is certified with over ten years experience teaching.   She offers private, semi-private, and group mat classes appropriate for all fitness levels including people who are recovering from injuries, athletes, and for those individuals desiring overall conditioning and an embodied-exercise experience.

Sessions and Rates

Private Sessions  are 60 minutes and cost $70.   Discounts are available for individuals who purchase a group of classes. They are customized to meet clients' particular needs and goals. They include work on the mat and on the Pilates equipment.

Semi-private Sessions are 60 minutes classes with two or more people. They include work on the mat and on the Pilates equipment. $35 a person per session.

Independent Sessions allow individuals familiar with the Pilates vocabulary to workout independent of a Pilates instructor. Customized workouts are designed for each client. $20 per session. Discounts available for purchasing multiple sessions.
